WADA Play True Day 2023 – #OnePlayTrueTeam

14.04.2023

Today, the anti-doping community celebrates the WADA Play True Day to raise awareness of the importance of preventing doping.

At an Education Conference hosted by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in 2013, the idea of Play True Day was born – a day dedicated to clean sport. One year later, WADA already celebrated the first Play True Day, raising awareness among athletes, the sporting public and others of the importance of preventing doping.

While it started as a small Latin American initiative, the digital campaign now reaches millions of people each year. Athletes, National and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations, Sports Federations, Governments, Major Event Organisers and other anti-doping stakeholders from around the world are invited to join the campaign and, of course, the IFSC Climbing World Championships Bern 2023 also show their support.

#OnePlayTrueTeam

In 2023, WADA aim to build “the world’s biggest team playing for clean sport; #OnePlayTrueTeam.”

The campaign is designed to include everyone that contributes to clean sport and your #OnePlayTrueTeam can be made up of anybody that supports you and inspires you to Play True. Take part by downloading WADA’s Play True assets and show your #OnePlayTrueTeam using the hashtag with your photo or video on social media.
