By bicycle: The easiest and most flexible way to get here is by bicycle. There are well-marked cycle paths and plenty of places to park your bike. You can also a rent a bicycle in Bern.

By tram: Tram No. 9 takes you from Bern main station to the PostFinance Arena in just 18 minutes, where you can get off right at the entrance to the Village of Experiences (tram station Guisanplatz Expo). The tram service runs at 6-minute intervals, so it doesn’t matter if you’re running late.

By train: Its central location means that Bern can be reached quickly and conveniently from almost everywhere in Switzerland and the neighbouring countries. Check your connection here. With a ticket for the World Championships, your travel to and from Bern (2nd class) is free of charge within the entire Swiss public transport network on the day the ticket is valid! VIP ticket holders even travel free of charge in 1st class.
Please note that due to a misprint, your VIP ticket incorrectly indicates 2nd class. The train crew has been informed.

By plane: Bern can be easily reached by train from the airports in Zurich, Geneva and Basel. However, we recommend planning your entire travel by train wherever possible.
