In June and July, the IFSC Climbing World Championships Bern 2023 will organise further pre-events across Switzerland. The promotional tour covers selected shopping centres as well as the open-air swimming pools of Bern.
The critical phase of promotion has begun. This is also noticeable in the activities of the IFSC Climbing World Championships Bern 2023. Over the course of the next two months, the small teams set up by the organiser will travel across Switzerland and the neighbouring countries to draw attention to the major sporting event.
In Switzerland, the main things to keep an eye on are shopping centres and the Bern open-air swimming pools – in addition to the two World Cups in Villars at the end of June and beginning of July, which are the sporting highlights intended to further spread the climbing fever before the World Championships.
Promotional tour in shopping centres
In three shopping centres of Migros, the Leading Partner of the IFSC Climbing World Championships Bern 2023, very special World Championship experiences await visitors over the next few weeks.
The bouldering block in the shape of the World Championship logo, which already caused a stir among children and young people at the BEA in Bern, will be set up in the outdoor area of the Centre Brügg and the Panorama-Center Thun. Equally fascinating at the BEA was Migros’ stacking game, which will be used in the interior of all three shopping centres – including Shoppyland Schönbühl. Those who take part in the stacking game even have the chance to win World Championship tickets.
For all those who want to have tickets guaranteed and hold them in their hands, there is a special offer on site in the shopping centres: Come by and get a 10% discount on all tickets purchased directly at the stand.
If visitors have any questions about tickets, they can ask the World Championship volunteers directly on site.

Promotional tour in Bern’s open-air swimming pools
Spring is here, it is getting warmer and more and more people are drawn outside. The 2023 swimming season has opened and the IFSC Climbing World Championships Bern 2023 is also on site in Bern’s open-air swimming pools. The Bern 2023 logo bouldering block will also be used here and it will be especially attractive to the younger generation – in addition to the cool water, of course.
